installing Vista 64bit With XP 32bit

downloaded the 64bit version on beta 2 ..supposedly without any problem, re partitioned my drive with partition magic so that i can test it out without any worries to my files. popped in the disc, and it wouldn't autorun...no problem i think. tried to run setup.exe and get a "not a valid Win32 application" error. OK i say to myself..ill try booting from the dvd...boot from the dvd, get to the setup screen, but after inputting my product key I get "windows cannot load disk image" error. any clues?

I do all the same thing but dont even get to the enter product key. I get to the point where you first see the mouse cursor, then nothing. It just hange there forever. Anybody got any ideas?
